A KIDDERMINSTER singer/songwriter will celebrate the launch of his new EP with a hometown gig.
Ian Passey, who records and performs as the Humdrum Express, will take to the stage the Boar’s Head, in Worcester Street, on Saturday (March 25).
Ian, who has released five albums over the past 10 years, continues to document the quirks of modern day life with his latest offering.
The lead track on the EP, Lookalike Bond, finds him taking on the role as a professional lookalike whose fortunes are determined by the star he pretends to be. The song’s video, which features people dressed as celebrities, can be found on YouTube.
Live music at the Boar’s Head will start at around 8pm. Support comes from two West Midlands acts – Flying Ant Day and Sleuth.
Entry is £3 on the door.
