THE Bewdley branch of the Children's Society are to host a special Remembrance Day concert this weekend to raise much-needed funds.
The Remembrance Day Choral Concert - called Lux Aeterna (Eternal Light) - will take place on Saturday (November 11) from 7.30pm at St Anne's Church, in Load Street.
All proceeds raised from the concert will be donated to the Children's Society.
The concert will be performed by the world renowned Elgar Chorale - with director of music Piers Maxim. It will feature works by Elgar and Quilter, among others. Narration will be provided by Alan Fairs.
Tickets cost £10, and include wine.
