AN EVENING of classic war time songs will take place in Bewdley next month to help raise money for a forces charity.
The Bewdley Branch of the Royal British Legion will be holding a concert in support of the Poppy Appeal at the Mercure Bewdley Heath Hotel on January 13 from 7pm.
It will feature singers the D-Day Darlings and David Lawrence. They have been touring the country with the ‘Songs that Won the War’.
The evening will end with a rip-roaring proms style, flag waving rendition of Land of Hope and Glory.
