POPULAR tribute band Fred Zeppelin will be bringing a ‘whole lotta love’ to Kidderminster with a special gig at a town pub.

The band, who have been endorsed by Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, celebrate 25 years together in 2018 and will be at The Boars Head, Worcester Street, on Friday, February 16.

Over the years, the ‘Fredz’ have built up a strong following and were event named as one of Kerrang! Magazine’s top 10 live bands – the only tribute act in the list.

Drummer Steve Black said: “Fred Zeppelin are real fans and formed ‘The Freds’ out of our admiration and love of Led Zeppelin’s music.

“As our name suggests, we do not take ourselves too seriously - we know the praise belongs to Robert, Jimmy, John Paul Jones, and Bonzo.

Doors open for The Boars Head gig at 8pm with the band expected on stage at 9pm.

Tickets cost £10 on the door or £8 in advance and are available online from www.wegottickets.com/event/423348.
