TWO award winning Kidderminster choirs will be celebrating a special anniversary this month with a joint concert.

The Kidderminster Valentines 30th Anniversary concert will be held at Kidderminster Town Hall on Saturday, April 28.

It will feature the Valentines alongside their brother group Kidderminster Male Choir and feature songs individually before they both come together for a new work ‘Just Keep Believing’ composed, especially for this concert, by the Valentines principal accompanist Morfudd Sinclair.

The Kidderminster Valentines choir was created when wives and partners of the Male Choir choristers decide to add their voices to the choir circuit.

The choir’s reputation, due to an exceptional balance of harmonies and performance, grew very quickly and they were soon being asked to perform in many venues across the country.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the Kidderminster Town Hall, John Beards (Bridge Street), Judy Morris on 01562 751753 and the KMC ticket officer on 01562 827936.
