KIDDERMINSTER Valentines are back to performing on home turf after wowing the crowds at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
They took to the stage in front of 5,000 people at a show in aid of Cancer Research UK, which raised £100,000.
The choir is now staging a Christmas concert with the twinning association from Kidderminster’s twin town, Husum.
Held at Baxter Church at 7pm next Saturday, it will feature three choirs – the Valentines, St Ambrose First School and Vox from Baxter College – with organist Tim Morris.
A flautist and Naomi Berry from Wyre Forest Young Voices will also feature as soloists.
Tickets, which include a mince pie and hot drink in the interval, can be bought from Baxter Church.
Proceeds will be shared between Hospiz-Dienst in Husum and Kidderminster’s Kemp Hospice.
