4:33pm Tuesday 30th August 2011 in Music
Celebrity dj: Former Blazin’ Squad member Kenzie will appear in Bewdley.
A FORMER Blazin’ Squad dj will replace Essex celebrities at a Bewdley nightspot tomorrow.
Dj Kenzie will be the first star to appear at HR’s Sports Bar in Load Street.
James ‘Arg’ Argent and Jack Tweed were booked for the night by Let Your Hair Down entertainments brand which apologised and said the guys were unable to make it due to unforeseen circumstances.
The former pop-rap star, real name James MacKenzie will give a dj set, pose for photos and meet and greet fans. He came second in Celebrity Big Brother in January 2005 and went on to form Friday Hill with two members of Blazin’ Squad. They had two chart singles Baby Goodbye and One More Night Alone. The evening, by Kidderminster-based Adam Wilcox Productions, will also feature commercial and electro-funky house music with popular djs Stuey James, Anthony Willits and Diego Millman.
