Keith Lemon has revealed that he will retire when he turns 50.

The Celebrity Juice host, played by Leigh Francis, teased he would bow out of the showbiz spotlight once he hits the milestone age.

“I said to my girlfriend who’s French – her name’s Nicole, which is French for Nicola – I said, ‘When I’m 50 I’m just going to f***ing disappear and go on holiday for the rest of my life’,” he said backstage at the National Television Awards.

He added: “I’m going to work right hard until I’m 50.”

Keith, who won the multichannel award at the ceremony, joked he would put his feet up, saying of his retirement plans: “I’ll probably just go back to Leeds and get p***ed with my mates.”

The funnyman was surprised when he accepted his prize from Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch Kris Jenner, dressed in a white Emilio Pucci gown.

“The weirdest thing was accepting the award from Kris Jenner. As soon as I saw her, I thought, ‘Oh look, it’s me mum’ because my actual mum in real life plays Kris Jenner in the Keith Lemon Sketch Show,” he explained.

Stars such as Paddy McGuinness, Dermot O’Leary, Emma Bunton and Michelle Keegan have already appeared on ITV2′s Celebrity Juice, but the TV presenter admitted he is in the dark over who has been booked.

“I never know who’s going to be on. I turn up, I have three beers and then I go on stage and I never know who’s on,” he said.

“It’s no word of a lie. I tweet it every week. I don’t book the guests. I’m just happy that I’m on telly hanging out with nice people like Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton and Gino D’Acampo.”
