Kim Kardashian is the world's richest reality TV star, according to a new study.

The 33-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is reportedly worth £39 million, after using her global fame to earn large sums for endorsements and appearances.

The Sun on Sunday Reality TV's Richest 2014 placed entertainer Paris Hilton in second place on £36 million, while entrepreneur Levi Roots came third with £30 million.

Rachel Richardson, editor of Fabulous magazine, said: "If milking reality fame for all its worth were a competition, Kim Kardashian would win hands down.

"She is the undisputed queen of the endorsement, the doyenne of the business deal and, under the guidance of "momager" Kris Jenner, there aren't many money-spinning opportunities left unexploited."

She added: "The big reality shows make celebrities out of the real people who star in them and it doesn't seem to matter whether you win or lose - if you're memorable you can go on to command mind-bogglingly high fees for your endorsement and participation in other TV shows.

"The list proves that whilst these people might start off normal, their bank balances certainly don't stay that way."
