THE new season at the Rose Theatre kicks off with Alan Ayckbourn’s hilarious comedy Bedroom Farce.

Kidderminster Operatic and Dramatic Society (KODS) have been rehearsing throughout the summer for the show which will take place from Wednesday, September 18 to Saturday, September 21.

The show, in association with Samuel French, follows Trevor and Susannah, whose marriage is on the rocks.

They inflict their miseries on their nearest and dearest - three couples whose own relationships are tenuous at best.

Dysfunction, beds, tempers, and domestic order are ruffled, leading all the characters to a touching epiphany.

It takes place in the three couples’ bedrooms during a Saturday night.

Alan Ayckbourn’s use of time and space makes the play an intricate and sophisticated comedy while also portraying the highs and lows of being in a young couple.

The performances begin at 7.30pm each night. For more information visit rosetheatre.co.uk
