KIDDERMINSTER Operatic and Dramatic Society (KODS) are packing their shorts and t-shirts for 10 performances of feel-good musical Summer Holiday.
The production will be giving audience members a taste of Great British nostalgia at Kidderminster's Rose Theatre from Thursday, March 6 to Saturday, March 15.
The film, which starred Cliff Richard as Don, was adapted for the stage by Michael Gyngell and Mark Haddigan.
It follows the story of Don and his fellow London Transport bus mechanics as they journey through Paris, the Alps, Italy and then Greece, along the way picking up three young girls in a clapped-out Morris Minor and a young American pop star on the run from her domineering mother.
The hit-filled score features In the Country, Summer Holiday, I Could Easily Fall in Love with You, Bachelor Boy, Move It, Living Doll, The Young Ones and On the Beach.
Performances start at 7.30pm and Saturday matinees are both at 2.30pm. For more information visit rosetheatre.co.uk or kods.co.uk
