THE Once Removed Theatre Company returns to The Rose Theatre, Kidderminster, with its latest production Fishing For Clues.

In the comedy, by Geoff Bamber, Lady Rosemary Huntley, finding herself unsuccessful in love, enlists the services of a dating website. As a result, comrade Chervatov comes to call on the very evening of an important speech by the prominent MP Ewart Stewart. Within hours the visitor is found dead in suspicious circumstances.

Enter Inspector Trench from the back yard – who has cruelly been recalled from an angling holiday; together with PC Pendlebury – of whom it is best to say little.

Could Ewart be involved? Is the foreign minister or an ex-KGB operative in the frame? What about the tree-hugging protester, or the motley collection of house guests? Everyone is a suspect.

Will the intrepid duo reel in the culprit, or is there something fishy going on?

Fishing for Clues runs from Thursday to Saturday, March 19 to 21. Tickets are available from The Rose Box Office by calling 01562 743745 or by visiting rosetheatre.co.uk.
