THE little known life of William Shakespeare’s wife will be the subject of a play in Alveley this weekend.
‘Shakespeare’s Will’, by Canadian writer Vern Thiessen, will be performed at Severn Valley Country Park in Alveley on Saturday, April 2 at 7.30pm as part of a national tour.
The Bard’s wife Anne Hathaway is played by Sally Hyde Lomax and starts immediately after his funeral when she has been handed his last will and testament.
