SAMANTHA Womack, Les Dennis and Carrie Hope Fletcher will star as Morticia, Fester and Wednesday Addams when the Addams Family at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre next year.
The Addams Family is a musical comedy, with the book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on the characters created by Charles Addams.
Samantha Womack will take on the role of Morticia Addams fresh from leaving BBC's EastEnders after nearly a decade as Ronnie Mitchell, while Les Dennis - who has spent the last three years playing Michael Rodwell in ITV's Coronation Street - will play Uncle Fester.
Carrie Hope Fletcher's recent theatre credits include Eponine in Les Misérables in the West End, Truly Scrumptious in the UK tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Beth in Jeff Wayne's arena tour of War or the Worlds.
Further casting is to be announced.
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows - she has fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. No Gomez Addams must do something he has never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.
The Addams Family will be at the Grand Theatre, in Wolverhampton, between Tuesday, October 17, and Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday (November 25).
