Stainer wins tournament
GOLF: Joe Stainer won Bewdley Pines GC's Champion of Champions tournament.
Men's April medal - Division One results: 1 Tony Bowden gross 74, handicap 12, net 62; 2 Ben Houghton 76-11-65.
Division Two: 1 Keith Bradley 79-17-62; 2 Dave Carnell 79-16-63.
Division Three: 1 Oliver Sexton-Lench 91-27-64; 2 Alan Gatland 90-24-66.
Ladies April stableford: 1 Dawn Bodsworth (on countback) 35; 2 Maureen Bailey 35; 3 Emily Hyde 34.
Pauline Wilmott won Wyre Forest GC's ladies May Medal tournament with a nett score of 75.
Margaret Ellor finished second with 78 points, followed by Jane Palmer (81, last nine) and Sue Giblin (81)
