Wildlife lovers can discover more about Chaddesley nature reserve

A WILDLIFE volunteer will be hosting an evening for residents to discover more about Chaddesley Woods National Nature Reserve.

Mervyn Needham, who volunteers for Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, will be giving a talk about the wildlife at the nature reserve.

He explained: “I imagine that few local residents realise that, aside from the Wyre Forest, Chaddesley Woods is the largest block of woodland in the county.

“It’s an amazing place with ancient woodland indicator species such as yellow archangel and herb Paris along the paths and lime and wild service trees throughout the wood.”

The event will take place from 7.30pm on Wednesday at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall.
