Shining bright: Stourport’s Three Kings Parade will once again get the town into the Christmas spirit.
ENTERTAINERS are being encouraged to help get Stourport into the festive spirit.
This year’s Three Kings Parade takes place on Friday, November 23, starting at 6pm from the sports centre car park in Harold Davies Drive.
The parade will be led through the town by Stourport Scout and Guide Band alongside Father Christmas, Mayor Gary Talbot and Stourport Carnival queen Beckie Price.
Anyone can join in the parade and children are being asked to bring a torch to help light up the streets.
It will arrive at the Stourport Civic Centre for a short carol service at about 6.30pm when the lead group will be joined by a “mystery guest”.
Shops in the town will stay open until 8pm and entertainers and buskers will line the streets to collect money for charity.
Organiser Pete Roberts said he was looking for more entertainers, such as bands or artists to help out. If you can help contact Mr Roberts at Pete’s Prints on 01299 826930.
