SCOUTS from across the district gave Kidderminster Harriers some extra backing when the football club played host to Gateshead on Saturday.
More than 250 Beaver Scouts, Cubs, Leaders, supporters and parents got behind the team at a Kidderminster and District Scouting day at Aggborough.
The event is now in its third season and this year two special matches will be attended by local Scouts groups.
On Saturday three mascots were drawn from Beaver, Cub and Scout groups and led out the Harriers team before their Blue Square Bet Premier match.
Group Scout Leader Mark Searl, who co-ordinated the day, said: “ We’re pleased with the uptake from the youngsters and adults in our movement.
“District Scouting and the Harriers both play very important roles in the community and the day is a celebration of those.”
