THREE men have been jailed after a Kidderminster man’s jaw was broken in an attack outside a nightclub in the town earlier this year.
It happened outside Tribe in Green Street at about 4am on Friday, April 20, when the victim, now 20, was assaulted and knocked to the ground by two men outside the club. Police say several people witnessed the incident.
The injured man was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, in Worcester, where he underwent an operation to fix his jaw.
David Wright, 18, of Hurcott Road, Kidderminster and Anthony Joseph Ryder, 22, of Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster were both convicted after a trial at Worcester Crown Court, ending last Friday and each jailed for two years.
A 17-year-old male youth from Kidderminster was also given eight months behind bars for his part in the attack.
Det Con Mark Wilding of Kidderminster CID said: “This was a nasty attack which left the victim with a significant injury. We are satisfied that these offenders have been convicted and put behind bars.”
