STAFF at a Kidderminster charity shop are appealing for Christmas party dress donations to meet this year’s high demand.
The Mind charity shop, in Worcester Street, needs donations of last year's dresses to help shoppers searching for an affordable new outfit.
Shop manager Sandra Jones said: “Every year we welcome shoppers keen to find a reasonably-priced party frock to add festive sparkle, that doesn’t cost the earth.
“We need your help to make someone else’s Christmas extra special this year and raise vital funds for the one in four people who experience mental health problems every year.”
Each bag dropped off at the shop has a cash equivalent of £20 once converted to saleable stock.
As well as clothes, the shop welcomes toys, books and accessories.
The shop raises money for Mind, a mental health charity which provides advice and support to ensure no-one has to face a mental health problem alone.
