A Women’s Institute (WI) group in Kidderminster is seeking new members after its first two meetings.
Chad’s WI formed in early December and has had demonstrations on wrapping Christmas presents and decorating a Christmas cake.
Suzanne Owen, a WI Adviser, said: “Chad’s WI has 16 members signed up and has formed a committee. The committee will be taking forward ideas for a programme of meetings for 2013.
“If you would like to be part of this exciting new WI come and join us at our next meeting in St Chad’s Hall on January 8.
"A warm welcome awaits you whatever the weather. At our next meeting we are fortunate to have Joyce Brewer, a talented floral artist”
Chad’s WI is one of three new WIs formed in Worcestershire in the last two months.
Issues being discussed as part of the WI’s resolutions for the year will include the declining high streets and town centres and a campaign to keep young people suicide-safe online.
Chad’s WI meet at St Chad’s Church hall, in Coronation Way.
