STAFF at a computer services firm based in Stourport and Kidderminster have raised £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The employees at OGL Computer Services Group donated the money that they would have spent on Christmas cards for their colleagues.

The staff instead signed one giant card and helped to support people and their families who are affected by cancer.

Stephanie Cope, marketing executive at OGL’s Stourport site, said: “We wanted to be part of this fundraising event because we all know someone who has been affected by cancer and we wanted to help.

"This campaign will help fund Macmillan Cancer Support’s cancer care services.”

Kelly Whitehouse, community fundraising manager at Macmillan, said: “This exciting new partnership between OGL and Macmillan will mean those living with cancer in the Wyre Forest will be able to receive the best possible financial, emotional, practical and medical support and guidance at the time they need it most.”
