STAFF at Wyre Forest District Council put politics aside to get their thinking caps on for a charity quiz.
Council employees and partners raised £100 for Kemp Hospice, Conservative councillor and chairman Stephen Clee’s chosen charity, at the event held at Wyre Forest House.
It was hosted by deputy leader, Conservative councillor Marcus Hart and included a picture round, film and tv and “in the news” rounds.
Teams paid £10 to enter, which went straight to the Mason Road-based charity and the winners were staff from the north Worcestershire economic development and regeneration team - who took the title by a point.
Mr Clee said: “The quiz was great fun and brought our everyone’s competitive spirit.
“It was a good opportunity to get employees and partners together for the night. I am raising money for Kemp Hospice throughout this term in office and my next even is a dinner at [Kidderminster restaurant] La Brasserie on Friday, March 1.”
