Kidderminster pupils bag cash

PUPILS and staff of an independent school in Kidderminster have generated £450 in a fund-raising drive.

The money was raised by the Parents Association (PA) of Holy Trinity International School in a Bag2School collection in which unwanted textiles were exchanged for cash.

Michelle Howles, PA chairman, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have raised £450, quite simply astonishing.

“The PA would like to thank everyone for their help with the Bag2School fund-raising initiative and for their continued support of all PA activities throughout the school year.”

Funds raised by the PA are put towards purchasing new equipment, including specialist teaching aides and stage lighting for the school’s concert hall, as well as to support local and county charities.
