THREE distinctive bicycles worth a total of £10,000 have been stolen in Kidderminster.

The bikes were taken from a shed at an address off Alder Avenue between 7pm on Friday and 8.40am on Saturday.

Two of the bikes are for off-road use including a white Santa Cruz Juliana worth £2,000 and a black Santa Cruz V10 worth £6,000. The other is a yellow Carrera road bike worth £2,000.

PC Rob Piper from the Broadwaters Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “These are quite distinctive models and therefore we would like to hear from anyone who saw the bikes being taken or thinks they have seen them since.

“The thieves will probably try to sell the bikes so we would urge anyone who is offered a bike of this type for sale and is unsure of their origin to call us as soon as possible.”

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 117-S-090213, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
