HEARTFELT tributes have been paid to Charlie Harris-Beard by thousands of people who have been touched by his story.

Tributes to the toddler have poured in since his death last Friday. A minute’s silence was held in his memory at the Kidderminster Harriers game against Cambridge United on Saturday.

On The Shuttle’s facebook page, Claire Cooke posted “So sad, heaven has gained another angel who fought so hard, true inspiration to everyone. Rest in peace now, Charlie, forever in our hearts!.”

Rach A Hickman said: “Charles Joseph touched so many people, pulled at invisible heart strings to many total strangers. My thoughts are with his parents and sister and extended Kidderminster Family bonded by one brave little boy’s love and strength. Charlie will live in our hearts forever.”

Jenny Marie Pritchard added: “So very sad to hear this. He was so very brave. May he at last find some peace. RIP Charlie. Xx.”

Thousands of tributes were also posted on Charlie’s facebook page Help Save Baby Charlie HarrisBeard.

Mary Harding posted: “Farewell gorgeous boy! Such a brave little fighter how we all wished things had turned out differently for you & your family. Love to Ellie for being a loving, strong sister. All other words fail me. RIP angel.”

Imogene Ladewig said: “Charlie, Sorry you had to leave us but I know you will be happy sitting on the lap of Jesus and playing with the angels.”

Amy Greening added: “So sorry to hear Charlie lost his battle, what a brave little beautiful boy & an amazingly strong family....sending love to you all. xx”
