WYRE Forest residents are reminded to take part in a Question Time-style event today.

A regeneration fair and the district’s second state of the area debate will take place from 5pm until 8pm at Wyre Forest District Council’s headquarters in Finepoint Way.

The public meeting, which starts at 6pm, will give members of the public the opportunity to put questions to the panel and have a say on the economic regeneration of Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley.

Shuttle editor Clive Joyce will chair the panel which will include Ken Wigfield, Federation of Small Businesses regional chairman, John Andrews, partner of Doolittle and Dalley, Jane Smith from Kidderminster Academy, Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier and district council leader, Conservative councillor John Campion.

Before the debate gets underway a regeneration fair will showcase projects and proposed plans for economic development.

Members of the public and small business owners are invited to submit questions to be debated on facebook, Wyre Forest District Council, or twitter, using #WFSOTA.

The council will be webcasting the meeting on its website wyreforestdc.gov.uk and tweeting live @wyreforestdc
