HOSPITAL staff at a kidney dialysis unit dressed up in purple to raise awareness of kidney disease.

The workers at Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre also decorated the unit in the colour to celebrate World Kidney Day last Thursday.

Alison Shelton, unit manager said: “It’s so important that we can raise awareness of the work Kidney Research UK do."

Sandra Currie, chief executive of Kidney Research UK, added: “We are incredibly grateful to the team for all their hard work and support.”
