A KIDDERMINSTER man has been given a criminal anti-social behaviour order (CRASBO) for punching a barman in the face after he was refused entry.

Kidderminster magistrates, on Monday, March 18, imposed a CRASBO on Jamie Perry, aka Loveridge, 22, of Cathedral Avenue.

The court heard he had been involved in numerous incidents of anti-social behaviour in Kidderminster and Bewdley.

Following an application by police, the court found he had acted in an anti-social manner which caused or was likely to case harassment, alarm or distress and had threatened those who had challenged his behaviour.

The CRASBO bans him from an area encompassing Kidderminster and Bewdley town centres from 7pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings until 7am the following days.

He is also banned from being in the company of Mark Harris and Ian Moorhouse in any public place during those times and from consuming alcohol and/or being drunk in any public place except on licensed premises.

PC Andy Forbes of West Mercia Police said he hoped the ban would send out a "strong and clear message" to "anyone else thinking of causing problems that we do take anti-social behaviour very seriously".

“It simply will not be tolerated and we are determined to take action against those responsible for it," he added.

Anyone who knows Mr Perry and sees him in any of the areas he is banned from are asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
