STOURPORT-based Thomas Vale Construction has selected Kemp Hospice as its charity partner for 2013.
The hospice, which provides care for patients with life-limiting illnesses in Wyre Forest, will be supported by Thomas Vale’s Future Enterprise Board.
The board is a group of self-nominated young professionals from across the business who form partnerships with local not-for-profit organisations.
Kemp Hospice will benefit from fundraising events held by the company and from the annual Thomas Vale charity ball on Friday, May 24 at Edgbaston Cricket ground.
Graham Taylor, chief executive officer at Kemp said: “We're absolutely delighted that the Future Enterprise Board has chosen Kemp as one of its charity partners for the year.
“It's the support of local companies like Thomas Vale in the Wyre Forest that enables us to support patients, families and carers of people with life limiting illnesses, as well as those who are bereaved.”
The Future Enterprise also supports Birmingham-based Forward4Work, which works with people with mental or physical disabilities, and Kidderminster-based Emily Jordan Foundation, which helps individuals with learning and physical disabilities to lead fulfilled lives.
Last year, the firm raised more than £12,000 for Acorns Children’s Hospice, Forward4Work and the Emily Jordan Foundation.
