A SOCIAL centre in Stourport is appealing for more people aged 55 and over to use the services it has to offer.
The Elizabeth Mills Centre, which is a registered charity, runs a range of activities to promote health and well-being for people in Stourport and the surrounding area.
Activities include dancing sessions, computer training and card games for people to learn something new and socialise.
The centre also serves lunch five days a week.
On Mondays, the NHS uses the centre to help people who have had a fall to exercise and on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, the hosts and hostesses organise social activities.
Every other Thursday there is an armchair exercise class and each Wednesday afternoon there is a sequence dancing session.
A computer training course takes place on Friday mornings and games such as Whist, Bridge and Scrabble are played on Friday afternoons.
Groups such as a social group, art group and floral art group meet at the centre as well as the Order of the Oddfellows and Stourport Civic Society.
The Centre is open from 10 am each day for anyone who would like to call in for tea or coffee.
