SHUTTLE readers have reported seeing a meteor travelling across the night sky in Stourport last night.
The "fireball" is believed to have shot over England and Wales in a northerly direction at around 9.45pm and several sightings have been reported in Worcestershire.
On our facebook page, Lindsay Turford, of Stourport, posted: "Was sat watching the TV and something caught my eye out of the patio doors. Both me and my husband said 'what was that'.
"He said it must have been a firework but I said it was too big and slow. Very odd. We did listen for the bang but nothing."
Nick Atkinson added: "I was sat on the Civic car park overlooking the river and had a wonderful view of it. The tail was bright white."
