Thank the NHS staff in Worcestershire who care for you
YOUR Worcester News is proudly backing a campaign to recognise the efforts of those doctors and nurses who go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver the very best experience for their patients.
Worcestershire Health and Care Trust, which delivers a vital health and social care offering including community hospitals, district nursing, therapies and mental health services to people across the county is preparing to honour staff at its annual Achievement Awards.
As your local newspaper, we are delighted to have teamed up with the trust to support one of the most important and prestigious honours handed out at the event – the Patients’ Choice Award.
If you or someone you care for has experienced exceptional treatment from any of the trust’s 4,500 staff in the last 12 months and want to say thank you for your care, this is your opportunity.
Just put pen to paper and complete the attached nomination form, detailing who it was that impressed you and exactly why you believe they deserve stand-out recognition.
The deadline for the trust to receive your nominations is Wednesday, July 31 and the awards night itself takes place on September 12, when we will bring you all the details and stories behind the big winners.
Sarah Dugan, chief executive of the health and care trust, looks forward to reading your nominations.
“The Patients’ Choice Award is a special category where we ask patients and members of the public to nominate those staff who they think have gone beyond the call of duty and delivered excellent care and treatment to you or a member of your family or a friend,” she said.
Completed nomination forms should be posted to: Freepost Plus RSTC-EZRE-BBUT, Patients’ Choice Awards, Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, Unit 19, Isaac Maddox House, Shrub Hill Industrial Estate, Worcester, WR4 9RW.
Nominations for the award can also be e-mailed to email@example.com.
And, of course, your Worcester News is always keen to hear about your experiences of the county’s health system.
If you think your story should be shared with a wider audience, call 01905 742282 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
