CARPETS designed by a Kidderminster company has made its TV debut, bringing Hollywood style to life for one unsuspecting Hertfordshire homeowner.

Part of Brockway Carpets’ designer collection Regatta’s black and white stripe design caught the eye of Hollywood interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who hosted Channel 4 show Hollywood Me last Wednesday.

Hollywood Me featured a surprise home makeover for Deborah Fegan, of Shenley, Hertfordshire. Used as a statement carpet to complement a monochormatic scheme, Brockway’s Regatta was shown in the hallway, stairs and landing of the house.

Brockway Carpets managing director, Charles Annable, said: “We’re delighted our successful Regatta featured in Hollywood Me and helped bring the wow factor.

“Stripes provide a stylish way to add colour and interest to a home decor scheme without being too busy and distracting from the overall theme.

“It proves popular as runners on stairs and hallways as a dramatic welcoming statement, as it combines both timeless elegance with an on-trend contemporary appeal.”

Hollywood Me showed Ms Fegan being whisked off to Los Angeles, California, to meet Billy Zane and embark on a shopping trip before the final grand unveiling of her new-look home.
