Chaplain's Blog - star date September 2013
10:04am Wednesday 4th September 2013 in News
YOU can read all about life of a hospital chaplain thanks to the latest recruit to the Shuttle website.
Rev David Southall, chaplain at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, has signed up with us as a blogger and is writing about the stories he comes across in his role at Kidderminster, Redditch and Worcester hospitals.
He says: “My blog celebrates stories from people who have good news to tell about their treatment and their hospital experience.”
Mr Southall has written a blog for the hospital website for the last six months and is now bringing it to our readers via our website.
He adds: “I am told that the blog has encouraged staff to keep up their good work and given patients who are coming into hospital confidence in the fact that they will get good treatment.”
And Shuttle readers can also contribute to the blog with their own hospital stories.
He adds: “I hope readers are inspired by the daily examples of care, compassion and professionalism that are commented on.
“It may be that they also have a good news story to tell me for the blog and they can find all my contact details on the Shuttle blog.”
