A CLASSIC motorcycle worth £1,000 has been stolen in Stourport.

The owner had spent the last six months restoring the gold Honda CB125S bike, which was made in 1975, before it was stolen on Wednesday last week between 10.30pm and 11.15pm in Bewdley Road North.

Offenders went into a back garden via a side gate and lifted a wooden fence panel to gain access to the garden next door.

They then got into a shed and took the motorcycle as well as various power tools and wheeled the bike back through the fence, into the neighbour’s garden.

The motorcycle, with registration number JHK 161N, is distinctive as it is missing side panels. The rear light is also missing as it was broken off when it was stolen.

The offenders also took a Bosch jigsaw worth £150, a Hilti hammer drill worth £150, a £150 Panasonic drill, a £200 Makita combi drill and a BSA .22 air weapon in a carrying case worth £200.

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact PC Steve Thomas or PC Paul Modley at West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 626-s-180913, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
