A KIDDERMINSTER man has been cleared of making a threat with an offensive weapon, an adjustable spanner, at The Range store in the town.
Malcolm Calder, 55, of Maureen Aston Court, Broad Street, was due to stand trial at Worcester Crown Court when prosecutor William Rickarby offered no evidence.
Calder, who had pleaded not guilty, was accused of threatening John Cole with the spanner on April 3 on Carpet Trades Way.
Mr Rickarby, who had no witnesses present, said the charge had been reviewed and a decision had been made not to continue with the case.
