Vote now for star apprentice Karen
4:42pm Thursday 10th October 2013 in News
Kidderminster-based The Community Housing Group (TCHG) had a double reason to celebrate at the regional final of the National Apprenticeship Awards 2013 recently.
Amid stiff competition from across the UK, they were named as the West Midlands’ ‘Best Apprenticeship Employers’ (Large Employer category) and TCHG employee, Karen Lowry-Hall was named the ‘West Midlands Apprentice Champion of the Year’.
The National Apprenticeship Awards celebrate the achievements of the country’s most outstanding Apprenticeship employers and their apprentices. The awards are organised by the National Apprenticeship Service, who received in excess of 1,600 high quality entrants this year.
The Apprenticeship Champion of the Year category seeks strong advocates of apprenticeships who have themselves been an apprentice.
Karen’s success showcases how she promotes apprenticeships and has made exceptional achievements since completing her own apprenticeship. Voting is still open for the national apprentice awards.
TCHG is asking Wyre Forest people to vote for Karen before end of Friday, October 11 to give her a chance of gaining national recognition.
