SPECIAL prayers in thanksgiving for the life of Nelson Mandela will be said at Worcester Cathedral.
The session will take place at Evensong in the cathedral at 4pm on Sunday. The cathedral flag is being flown at half mast.
The Very Rev Peter Atkinson, Dean of Worcester, said: "Nelson Mandela was one of the great figures of our time and the whole world is indebted to him."
Mr Mandela died yesterday, aged 95.
