PLANS to put double yellow lines in a residential Stourport street to help with visibility have been supported by Stourport town councillors.
Worcestershire County Council asked the town council about proposed parking restrictions on Olive Grove in an informal consultation.
The restrictions would mean that no waiting would be permitted at any time on the Olive Grove junction.
The existing arrangement reduces visibility and movement as parking is currently permitted at the junction.
Independent Community and Health Concern Jim Parish said: "People living in those houses park on the road. It's nice to put a restriction in but where do the people then park their cars?
"It's going to affect five to six houses. I don't think we have any alternative but I do wish us to bear in mind the discomfort it's going to bring to those people in those houses."
The town council's comments will be sent to Worcestershire County Council, who will make the final decision.
