Moped rider, 18, injured following A449 crash
A MOPED rider, 18, has been taken to hospital with a head injury following an accident on the A449 at Hartlebury.
West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the incident at 3.55pm yesterday. The male rider was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Worcester, with a head injury, fractured femur and suspected fractured pelvis.
The Kidderminster-bound carriageway of the busy road was closed for several hours following the incident between the Mitre Oak pub island at Stourport Road and the Esso garage at Hartlebury.
