A KIDDERMINSTER couple who have been dancing together for 60 years are celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary today.
Dorothy and Harry Adey met at Frank Freeman's Dance Club in Kidderminster in 1952 and married a year later on the 12th day of the 12th month at noon.
The couple will be celebrating by taking their family out for Sunday lunch.
Mrs Adey, 79, said: "Our wedding day was lovely. It was a cold, crisp, sunny day.
"Dancing is our main hobby, we met dancing and we're still going. We go sequence dancing now but we used to do ballroom."
The couple have two daughters and five grandchildren.
Mr Adey, 88, is originally from West Bromwich and was an assistant caretaker at Kidderminster Town Hall.
Mrs Adey added: "My husband was poorly a couple of years ago and he lost the sight in his one eye. On the whole, we've had a little ups and downs but it's been wonderful. What a wonderful husband I've got."
