RUBBISH and recycling collection days will be changed temporarily over the Christmas and New Year period for Wyre Forest residents.
Rubbish collections due to take place on Christmas Day will now be made on Monday, December 23.
Those due for Boxing Day will be changed to the following Monday, December 30.
Reycling collections due on New Year’s Day (Wednesday) will be changed to Monday, January 6. All other collections over the Christmas and New Year period remain unchanged.
Conservative councillor Marcus Hart, cabinet member for environmental services, said: “Please check your collection dates over the festive season.” If residents have any extra recycling they can collect a reusable bag from the Worcestershire hub in Kidderminster town centre. All hubs in Wyre Forest will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Stourport and Bewdley hubs will also be closed on Friday, December 27, and Monday, December 30.
