NATIVITY scenes designed and created in shoeboxes by Kidderminster school pupils have been on display at a town church.
The models were created by youngsters from St John's Primary School and Foley Park Primary School and enjoyed by visitors to the Cribfest event at Holy Innocents' Church, Stourport Road, earlier this month.
Kidderminster West team rector, the Rev Derek Arnold, will visit pupils at both schools to announced the winning shoebox nativity scene and award prizes.
The event also saw church members get creative with their knitting talents, make a nativity scene our of sweets and one made from empty toilet rolls and ping pong balls.
Christmas music played while people looked at 75 crib scene from around the world and children had fun decorating biscuits in the shape of camels and stars. Nearly £60 was collected in donations for Kidderminster Women's Refuge.
The pupils' nativity scenes will remain on display at the church until Sunday, December 22, for anyone who wants to see them.
