JOBSEEKERS are expected to rush to apply for more than 200 vacancies up for grabs at a popular tourist attraction.

Applications for about 250 seasonal posts at the West Midland Safari Park can now be accepted after its jobs website went live last Friday.

Jobs are available from de partments such as food and beverage, leisure, retail and admissions.

The largest number of vacancies on offer are in the leisure area where about 70 staff are needed to operate the amusement rides when the park fully reopens for its summer season in February.

Marcus Hyde-Fynn, leisure area manager, said: “Becoming part of the leisure team suits applicants that love to be outdoors.

“It is an immensely rewarding job and is a great opportunity for those that have a good personality, to shine”.

A further 150 jobs will become available between April and July.
