TWO Stourport men are appearing in court today accused of stealing £600 worth of Christmas presents in a burglary at Stourport.
Joe Glyptis, 26, of Meadow Caravan Park, Broach Street and Ernie Taylor, 27, of Lickhill Road, have been charged with burgling a caravan outside a property at The Birches in the early hours of Tuesday last week and stealing wrapped Christmas gifts including clothing and toys.
The presents were all subsequent recovered by police officers.
Glyptis and Taylor face a further charge of stealing a wheelie bin from outside a property in Willowdene, Stourport, the same night.
The men were arrested shortly after a member of the public contacted police to say two people had been acting suspiciously in that area.
They appeared before Worcester magistrates on Wednesday last week when they were remanded in custody to appear again at Redditch Magistrates Court today.
