PARTICIPANTS in a community-based project have a polytunnel vision for a project they want to carry out.

Amber Market Garden, located in the grounds of The Granary Hotel and Restaurant, Stone, is run by young adults with learning disabilities and offers a range of work-based programmes, all designed to increase opportunities for them to experience new activities.

They are setting up an Aquaponics education centre within the grounds. Aquaponics is a system, popular around the world, where plants are grown with the aid of fish.

It creates an imaginative way of growing produce and is intended to inspire children and adults, with the opportunity in the future for local schools and the general public to experience.

The aim is to use completely recycled items to show people how simple it would be to set up systems of their own.

They are seeking a polytunnel that could be donated to the project and would be happy to dismantle and move it themselves.

Anyone who could provide one can contact John Rose on 07500 090120.
