A SCHOOLBOY has been pushed into a bush by an man in Kidderminster.

The incident happened in Broom Crescent at about 3.40pm on Tuesday last week, as the 13-year-old was walking home from school with friends.

One of the group threw an empty drinks can on the pavement and they were challenged by a man. Words were exchanged and the youth was pushed into a bush.

The youngster sustained reddening to his chest but no injuries.

A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail pending further inquiries.
