ELVIS was alive and kicking at a Stourport school when youngsters became the rock ’n’ roll legend as part of a project to dress up as famous people.

Royal couple William and Kate also made an appearance with baby George at Burlish Park Primary School, as did pop star Lady Gaga and biologist Alex - ander Fleming.

As part of the project, the Year 2 pupils also had to research the life of their chosen character and deliver a presentation to their class.

Kerry Bryan, Year 2 teacher, said: “Our pupils had great fun dressing up and this really motivated them to learn more about their chosen character.”

“The children’s costumes looked absolutely amazing."
