A WOMAN has been jointly accused of burgling a flat in Kidderminster and stealing property, including DVDs, worth a total at £1,045.
The 33-year-old, who is from Stourport, was originally arrested on December 1 last year in connection with the burglary at Rochester Walk, off Tennyson Way, which happened on November 16, 2013.
When she answered bail at Kidderminster Police Station yesterday she was charged with the burglary and stealing between 80 and 100 DVDs, a DVD player and remote, perfume, a watch and a suitcase from the property. Some of the stolen items, including all the DVDs, have since been recovered by police.
After she was charged the woman was released on bail to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on February 13, 2014.
John Kenneth Stancer, 35, of Avon Road, Kidderminster, pleaded not guilty when he appeared before Worcester magistrates last Monday charged with the same offence. The case was adjourned for trial at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on April 1.
